Do I need to buy a new mattress or pillow?
No, Smartsilk™ works with your existing bedding. Simply put it over your pillow and mattress and you will be protected from dust mites, allergens and pet dander naturally.
We recently purchased a foam mattress which we love but we find that it is very warm. Will the Smartsilk™ mattress protector help?
Absolutely! Your foam mattress, although it offers comfort and support, it does so by using your body heat to help conform around you. This process generates heat which could make you warm and cause you to over heat. Smartsilk™ due to its unique wicking properties will help keep you dryer and cooler. You may notice a slight difference in the softness of the mattress due to the fact that that there is less heat being generated.
How do I wash my Smartsilk™ products?
Smartsilk™ products are scientifically tested and proven to be machine washable in cold water and dryable on low. We recommend using the delicate cycle and detergents for delicate fabrics. Tumbled dry on low. Your Smartsilk™ bedding could be removed from the dryer while still slightly damp, due to the fact that Smartsilk™ does not retain moisture it will dry out very quickly.

Does Smartsilk™ have an odor?
Smartsilk™ is odorless. In fact Smartsilk™ does not absorb or retain any odors. Our unique Smartsilk™ 100% all natural silk fill absorbs odors and releases them into the air therefore remaining fresh and clean.
Does the Smartsilk™ duvet have any cold air pockets?

We have a country home which we only use a few times a month. Our regular bedding always has a musty smell. Will Smartsilk™ help to avoid this?

What is Smartsilk™ made of?
Smartsilk™ is made of a 100% cotton outer shell. The inner fill is 100% Smartsilk™ silk floss fill.
I have a mattress with a 16" depth will the mattress protector fit on my mattress?
Yes, the Smartsilk™ mattress protector is designed to fit on all mattresses up to a depth of 17". There is elastic with an adjustor to make sure it fits snug and secure.
